The CO-Mission International, Inc. Statement of Faith is a broad evangelical declaration that expresses the content of the Gospels. It is required that all board members and missionaries connected with CO-Mission concur with this minimum statement.

  1. The Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God in its original autographs.

  2. There is one God, eternally in three Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  3. Jesus Christ is Man and God in one person. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and atoned for the sins of anyone who believes and accepts Him as Lord and Savior. He was bodily resurrected from the dead and will personally return in power and glory.

  4. The Spirit of God summons every person by the command, "You must be born again".

  5. Eternal life is received by faith in Jesus Christ.

  6. Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected from the dead--the saved to eternal life, and the lost to judgment at the hands of a just God.

  7. There is spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  8. The local church is the primary vehicle God has ordained to use to carry out His plan for evangelizing the world.

  9. Every true believer is commissioned of Christ to "preach the Gospel to every creature", and to "make disciples of all nations".
